TOTO MS964214 CEFG-01 Eco Soiree Review

Eco-friendly Eco Soiree.

If it’s possible to fall in love with a toilet at first sight, I think I just did with Eco Soiree.

In truth, it’s a beauty inside and out.

It’s not perfect, nothing is - I’m a strong believer that perfection is overrated.

But it’s very close to perfection.

To learn how, scroll down!

Cut Water Wastage

There was a time when I would reluctantly press the flush button, thinking of the amount of water wasted due to a single flush.

If you’re like me, then you can breathe a sigh of relief with Eco Soiree.

It uses only 1.28 gallons of water for a complete, bowl-cleansing flush. Even EPA is happy with it, so they’ve given their WaterSense approval.

This approval will also make you eligible for rebates under water conservation programs conducted by your local authority. You can even claim up to $100.

So don’t forget to check more information about this and bring down the cost of your initial purchase.

Flushing Power

When I first heard about how little water Eco Soiree uses, I was a bit sceptic about its flushing power.

But boy was I wrong - this one is no different to Toto’s older models. The flushing has unbelievably improved, which I didn’t think was possible.

Since only little water is needed to keep going, Toto came up with a new flushing system called the Double Cyclone Flushing System.

It’s also called the Tornado Flush because the water swirls and spirals inside the bowl like a tornado, and exerts enough pressure to send everything through the trap way.

This way, you can be assured that your clogging issues will be solved.

However, this isn’t the quietest flushing in the world. It isn’t loud either - just moderate.

But don’t get yourself worrying about it because it gets the job done in record time. So you won’t be waking up the entire household in the middle of the night - you might only stir them with your bowel movements.

Is The Comfort Height Truly Comfortable?

Obviously, it’s a decision you, yourself should make.

If you are taller than, say 5’5, then this toilet will be more comfortable than it is for a shorter person.

Comfort height also happens to be the height approved by ADA. This is because anybody using a wheel chair can get on to it easily.

With the seat, the toilet reaches exactly up to 17 and a 1/4 inches.

This might be a bit too high for kids, so think twice before you get one for their bathroom.

Hardly Any Cleaning To Do

Thanks to the SanaGloss finish, cleaning the toilet is starting to seem more like something in the past.

Well, that doesn’t mean that you have absolutely no cleaning to do.

The inside is kept clean, but cleaning the outsides should be taken over by you.

Avoid using cleaners with heavy chemicals and don’t scrub the SanaGloss with all your might. It’s very sensitive - so be sensitive towards it.

The Aesthetic Design

The one piece design with the elongated bowl and front is made with comfort in mind.

You get ample space to widen your legs and place your thighs like in every other elongated model.

But what caught my eye the most is Eco Soiree’s unique style. It looks sleek, there’s no doubt in that. But it also looks classical with its edges being more sharp than curvy.

Even the tank is squarer - giving it a very elegant and contemporary finish.

Smooth Installation

This doesn’t come as a surprise because Toto has always thought about installation beforehand.

They send most of the parts pre-installed and you’ll only have to bolt and tighten them up a little.

Though the rough-in is advertised as the standard 12’’, you can also get a unit with a rough-in of 10’’ or 14’’ under a special order.

If you wish, you can do the installation all by yourself by simply referring the instruction manual. But however, you’ll definitely need help carrying it to your bathroom because it’s pretty heavy at about 120 pounds.

It’s also a one piece design, so installing it ain’t good to be hard.

The Patented SoftClose Seat

When you buy a high-end product, you’ll want it to have everything, without having to spend even more on missing parts.

So Toto hasn’t disappointed you. It doesn’t sell Eco Soiree without the SoftClose seat.

Though made up of plastic, it has a way of closing the toilet gently without slamming hard on the rim.

So with it, you get peace - as simple as that.

Caveat Emptor

Though the quality of Eco Soiree is top notch, those responsible for the shipment of the toilet doesn’t seem to be doing a job that deserves a pat on the back.

So, just to be on the safe side, check your toilet from head to toe right then and there when it’s delivered.

If you delay by waiting until installation, the chances are, you might fall out of Amazon’s hassle-free return window.
